F on Ontario birth certificate

I should have mentioned this earlier. It is a great victory for my people. The human rights tribunal has decreed that the Ontario government was discriminating against my kind in the way that they scrutinized our genitals in order to be considered female on some government documents.

I have been able to get an F on my Driver's license and health card, as well as change my legal name to a Mei, but up until this ruling I have been unable to get an F on my birth certificate. That means my birth certificate will read Mei - Male instead of Mei - Female like it dun shoulda! This is especially troubling as birth certificates are required for passports...

Thanks to hard working amazonian awesmonauts that is going to change. The Ontario government now has 180 days to revise their criteria and replace that requirement with something less invasive than having one Doctor sign that he cut me between my legs and another Doctor signing that he checked under my skirt, and that pussy be nice.

While I was searching for links to share, I found a great many disturbing ideas. It is frightening how backwards people who think they are for the common good can be, and religion doesn't need to even play a role. Haters gonna hate.

I'm citing a legal source as it is relatively impartial.

  1. I'm glad to hear Ontario is being made to change their requirements to prove a person is transgender. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come around the world
